Center for Arkansas Farms and Food to Host High Tunnel Workshop March 17

The Center for Arkansas Farms and Food will offer a short course on high tunnel farming on March 17, providing area farmers with information on extending their growing seasons and improving crop management.

High tunnels are greenhouse-like structures that offer several advantages to farmers, including extending the growing season and reducing pressure from insects and weeds. The workshop will cover best practices and implementation strategies for utilizing these structures.

The course is being offered through the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture’s Center for Arkansas Farms and Food.
