Free tax preparation services available Saturday in Arkansas through Entergy partnership

Arkansas residents with low to moderate incomes can receive free tax preparation assistance at several events this month through a partnership between Entergy Arkansas and nonprofit organizations.

The largest Super Tax Day event will take place Saturday, Feb. 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center, 3805 W 12th St, Little Rock. The event is being held in partnership with Central Arkansas Development Council.

IRS-certified volunteers will prepare tax returns at no cost for qualified individuals and families, including those with 2025 income less than $69,000, taxpayers with disabilities, and limited-English speaking households.

“Our Super Tax Day events are an important part of our commitment to helping meet our customers’ needs in ways that improve their everyday lives,” said Laura Landreaux, Entergy Arkansas president and CEO. “We want to help customers navigate the tax preparation and return process more easily and put money back in their pockets.”

Volunteers will counsel attendees on tax credits and deductions, including the federal Earned Income Tax Credit. According to the IRS, one in five eligible workers don’t claim the EITC.

Additional community organizations will provide resources at the events, including the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, Arkansas Minority Health Commission, Entergy Solutions, Legal Aid of Arkansas and Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority.
