A Little Rock defense attorney has been arrested and charged with felony tampering with physical evidence following a stabbing incident in Texarkana on Tuesday evening.
Zoe Jackson was taken into custody after police say she removed a knife from the scene of a stabbing at the EZ Mart located at 3401 E. 9th Street and concealed it in her vehicle.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at approximately 5:30 p.m. on March 4. Upon arrival, they discovered that a suspect had gotten into a confrontation with a FedEx delivery driver, stabbed the victim, dropped the knife, and fled the scene.
Investigators determined that Jackson, who was accompanying the suspect, removed the knife from the scene and hid it in her vehicle. She was subsequently arrested and transported to the Miller County Jail.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the assault.
The stabbing suspect remains at large. Police describe him as a slender Black male in his early 20s. The incident remains under investigation, and authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the identity or location of the suspect to contact the Texarkana Police Department immediately.
