Armed Career Criminal Sentenced to More Than 17 Years in Federal Prison for Firearm Offense

Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force Chairman Mike Reynolds, in cooperation with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, announced the sentencing of David Robinson for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

On Nov. 21, 2024, Fayetteville Police Department officers responded to a call about an armed person at an apartment complex. Witnesses reported Robinson had threatened multiple people with a firearm.

Officers located Robinson at his residence. A search revealed a Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun. Due to Robinson’s extensive criminal history, detectives with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force presented the case to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Arkansas.

Robinson was sentenced to a total of 210 months in prison on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force includes officers from the Elkins, Elm Springs, Farmington, Fayetteville, Greenland, Goshen, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Springdale, Tontitown and West Fork police departments, along with deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
