Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders participated in several events last week, including the unveiling of a historical marker honoring civil rights activist Daisy Bates in Little Rock.
On February 17, Sanders attended the Arkansas250 Daisy Bates Historical Marker Unveiling, joined by state legislators and members of the Daisy Bates Museum Foundation. The ceremony recognized Bates, who played a pivotal role in the integration of Little Rock Central High School in 1957.

She was joined by Arkansas State Representatives Denise Ennett and Fred Allen, along with Daisy Bates Museum Foundation Board President Charles King and board member Mary Hardin.
Earlier that day, Sanders appeared on 103.7 The Buzz’s Morning Mayhem show with hosts David Bazzel and Roger Scott, discussing Black History Month, Razorback sports, and the 30th Annual Broyles Award.
Later in the week, Sanders traveled to Washington, D.C. for multiple engagements. On February 19, she participated in a discussion with CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz about President Trump’s health initiative at the Republican Governors Association Meeting.
On February 20, Sanders joined the inaugural Rural Revival Governors Task Force meeting at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, alongside several other governors and cabinet secretaries.
Sanders and First Gentleman Bryan Sanders attended the National Governors Association Dinner at the White House on February 21.
