FORREST CITY, Ark. — An 18-year-old Forrest City man is in custody following a multi-agency investigation into the uploading of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Ja’Quan Ivey was taken into custody Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, in the lobby of the St. Francis County Detention Center. Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Special Agents booked Ivey on four counts of pandering or possessing a visual or print medium depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.
The investigation was prompted by a cyber tip from a cloud-based storage service that flagged the uploading of illicit material.
On Friday, July 31, 2026, ASP Special Agents, with assistance from the Arkansas Highway Police, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Summer Street in Forrest City. Investigators seized an electronic device during the search.
Ivey’s bond was set at $100,000. He is being held at the St. Francis County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 5, 2026.
The investigation is active and ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
