Right now
Every hour, summarized while it is still news
At the top of each hour the last 60 minutes of radio traffic become a headline, a short narrative and the notable calls, with an activity level so you know at a glance whether it was a quiet hour or a busy one. The page refreshes itself while you have it open.

Flagged calls
The calls that matter, as they happen
Structure fires, pursuits, serious crashes, shootings, missing people. Our monitor flags them within minutes, grades each one by severity and tags it with the area and the agency on the radio. Tap an agency to see only that part of the state.
- Critical, high and medium severity at a glance
- 48 hours on the board, grouped by day
- Block-level locations, never a house number

Hour by hour
Scroll back through the whole day
Two days of hourly recaps, each one a tap away. Narrow the board to one region or one kind of call and the hours with nothing in them collapse out of the way, so you can see exactly when your county got busy.

Overnight
What happened while you slept
A 10 PM to 7 AM recap posts every morning, written the way we report it. The last 30 nights stay on the board, so a story that surfaces days later still has its overnight context.

Filters
Find your corner of the state
Filter by area, by type of call, by severity or by day, or search a street, a city or an agency. Your filters live in the link, so a view of just Northwest Arkansas fire calls is something you can bookmark or send to someone.

The morning brief
And it lands in your inbox
Every morning around 7:40, members get the brief by email: the overnight report, stories that broke overnight, yesterday's headlines and the forecast across the state. Insiders also get the flagged calls and the hour-by-hour timeline in it.

How we handle it
Unconfirmed, and labeled that way
This is radio traffic as it was heard. Details change as agencies release information, and we say so on every recap.
No names, no plates
Nothing identifying a person makes it onto the board. House numbers are rounded to the block before anything is published.
No audio, no raw transcripts
The feeds belong to the people who run them. We publish our own written summaries, not recordings.
Written by the newsroom's tools
The recaps are generated from the audio and reviewed the way we review a tip: useful for knowing what is happening, not a substitute for the story we report afterward.
