LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Buc-ee’s is interviewing job candidates in Little Rock this week as the Texas-based travel center chain prepares to open its first Arkansas location next month.
Interview sessions run Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Embassy Suites at 11301 Financial Centre Parkway in Little Rock. Applicants must apply online at buc-ees.com before attending. Interviews are by invitation only.
The company is hiring cashiers, deli and food service workers, grocery associates, gift department staff, and janitorial crews. Starting wages range from $20 to $25 per hour. Full-time employees receive weekly pay, medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k) match of up to 6 percent.
The Benton store opens Monday, Aug. 17, at 6 a.m. at 1400 Highway 229, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The location sits off Exit 114 on Interstate 30 near Haskell.
The travel center will feature 120 fueling positions, 25 electric vehicle charging stations, and about 75,000 square feet of retail space. The facility is expected to create between 200 and 250 full-time jobs and draw an estimated 5 million visitors annually.
The project was first announced at the 2024 Salt Bowl and marks the company’s first store in Arkansas.
