Flash flooding affected Beacon Point Apartments in Texarkana, Arkansas, as heavy rain created hazardous conditions across the region, KTAL/KMSS reported.
Video posted to Facebook showed water flowing from Nix Creek through streets inside the apartment complex, with water seen near the back of the apartments and draining toward 42nd Street and Pinson Drive.
The person who filmed the video told KTAL/KMSS that flooding did not appear to enter apartment buildings, though some nearby houses had to be evacuated. Additional rainfall in northeast Texas and southwest Arkansas could worsen flash flooding conditions.
