A 73-year-old Hardy man was killed Friday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. Highway 412 in Sharp County, according to Arkansas State Police.
Patrick Black was in the roadway when he was struck by a westbound 2011 Buick at approximately 1:39 p.m., according to the preliminary crash report. The incident occurred on U.S. Highway 412 near Hardy.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash, according to the report. Black’s body was taken to Tri County Funeral Home.
