BOONE COUNTY, Ark. — A Harrison motorcyclist was killed and a Lead Hill woman was injured Wednesday evening in a crash on State Highway 7 in rural Boone County, according to a preliminary fatal crash summary from Arkansas State Police.
The crash happened at 6:54 p.m. June 17 on State Highway 7 at Kirk Mountain, according to ASP.
Investigators reported that a northbound 2004 Harley-Davidson crossed the center line in a curve and struck a southbound 2026 Chevrolet.
Dalton Ray Stanford, 24, of Harrison, was killed in the crash. Peggy Jean Barnes, 71, of Lead Hill, was injured and taken to NARMC, according to the summary.
