Hensley Man Dies After Vehicle Strikes Bridge on South University Avenue in Little Rock

A Hensley man was killed Friday, February 27, 2026, after his vehicle left the roadway and struck a bridge on South University Avenue in Little Rock, according to the Arkansas State Police.

Roger Lee Fox Jr., 43, was pronounced dead following the crash, which occurred at approximately 8:22 p.m. in the 8000 block of South University Avenue in Pulaski County. Fox was the driver of a 2018 Ram pickup truck that was traveling southbound on South University Avenue when it departed the roadway and collided with a bridge structure.

Weather conditions at the time of the crash were clear, and the road surface was reported as dry. No other vehicles were reported to be involved, and no additional injuries were reported.

Fox’s body was transported to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office. The crash was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
