Little Rock Woman Dies After Police Pursuit Ends in Crash on Rodney Parham Road

A Little Rock woman died Friday, March 6, 2026, following a crash on the 8500 block of North Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock that occurred while a vehicle was fleeing from police, according to the Arkansas State Police.

Stephanie Epperson, 49, of Little Rock, was a passenger in a 2021 Subaru traveling eastbound on Rodney Parham Road when the crash occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. The driver of the Subaru left the roadway while fleeing law enforcement, striking two parked vehicles — a 2017 Dodge and a 2023 Kia — both parked in a driveway. Weather conditions at the time were clear, and the road was dry.

Epperson was transported to UAMS Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her body was transferred to the Arkansas State Crime Lab. No other injuries were reported in connection with the crash.

The crash is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police. No additional information regarding the driver of the fleeing vehicle or the circumstances of the police pursuit has been released at this time.
