A 71-year-old Tennessee man was killed Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of CW Post Road and Moore Road in Jonesboro, according to the Arkansas State Police.
Robert Furches, of Millington, Tenn., was driving a 2023 Freightliner eastbound on CW Post Road when his vehicle struck a 2020 Volvo that was traveling southbound on Moore Road. The collision occurred at approximately 10:55 a.m. under cloudy skies, with dry road conditions reported at the time of the crash.
Furches was pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. His body was transported to Emerson Funeral Home. No additional injuries were reported. The crash occurred in Craighead County, and the Arkansas State Police is leading the investigation.
