WHITE COUNTY, Ark. — A Romance man was killed and a Romance woman was injured Monday morning in a rear-end crash on Midge Langley Road in Joy, according to a preliminary fatal crash summary from Arkansas State Police.
The crash happened at 11:15 a.m. June 16, according to ASP.
Investigators reported that a 2024 Nissan Kicks turned onto Midge Langley Road and was struck from behind by a 2000 Dodge Dakota.
Carroll Edward Wells, 83, of Romance, a passenger in the Nissan, was killed. Ima Gene Wells, 73, of Romance, the driver of the Nissan, was injured and taken to Unity Health Hospital, according to the summary.
