A 39-year-old Vilonia woman died Saturday morning after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree in rural Lonoke County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Samantah Williams was driving a 2010 Honda CRV westbound on State Highway 319 near the 10322 mile marker when the vehicle struck several mailboxes at approximately 9:56 a.m. on Feb. 7. The vehicle then reentered the roadway before crossing the centerline, leaving the road and colliding with a tree, according to the report.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash. Williams’ body was held at the Lonoke County Coroner’s office.
